The Supertechs are great. Loads of protection, with the comfort of your favourite slippers. Those Sts do look nice too though, but I've not tried a pair (my Vertebra 2s have served me well for years though). What size are you?

I have the Supertech R's, best boots I've ever had, crashed at 60 at Silverstone, and walked away. Saved my ankles for sure.
I got them for £255, new ones are now out, little lighter and more airflow.

Really comfy, excellent build, great ankle protection from the inner bootie.

I'd buy another pair tomorrow.

Two pairs of Sidi Vertigo Mega Gortex. Same as the Vertigo, just waterproof and warm, and cool in the summer.

lids direct have the sidi vortice and with the 15% off code can get em for £254 which is pretty good deal.they look a bit of a pain getting in and out though and need it as a everyday boot all those hoops and wires looks a puzzle.

Personally after trying about every make the only thing I will wear is Daytona's.  I use Security Evo's for the track and Evo Sports for the road

I have wide feet and I've found Sidi's don't fit me, they're too narrow. I wear Daytona, can't fault them and can wear all day without them killing me.

Yep the toe sliders simply pop on and off, about £8 on eBay.

Putting a word in for the alpinestars!  Had mine for a year now, never leak, feet never get too hot or too cold depsite long journeys in freezing cold temps (didnt even have the thermal socks on!) Walked for miles in them in comfort and the soles still havent worn thru.  They did squeak like a bugger tho :006:!! however some wd40 solved this :008:

Pointy? Mine are round, never had a peep or squeak out of them, fit like slippers.
