Well if im a power ranger so be it
but my leathers are two piece black items that tend to go with any colour of bike, but since i dont give a flying *^"k it doesnt really matter. And yes im a middle aged fat biker and proud of it. Its just that i fear pain so much id rather look like a "tit" than have some nurse pick gravel out of my [censored] for the next six months should the worst happen

2 piece black leathers pass the "Davy" taste test Delboy, it's dayglo one piece rompers I hate
And there
are
other options beyond leather race suits out there. I find leathers too damn hot but apparently there's some new heat reflective leathers from Hein Gericke now. I may have a look at the jackets as I need a new one myself due to an expanding waistline

He looked a monumental tit.
Sorry mate, you just sounded petulant in that last post lol. Thought you'd gone all sensitive on me.
Worst leathers I've ever seen was going up Loch Lomond side. A fluorescent orange and pink leather suit worn by a fat bloke on an old Blade. It was made all the worse by him holding me up on a favourite 110mph corner doing 70mph while his knee stuck out at a 45 degree angle to the bike. pi**ed me right off that did since he'd just overtaken me on a straight. Tw*t.

Oh, I love the knee-out-I'm-a-GP-god types, lol. They always give me a chuckle, thruppeny bitting round corners, hanging off like a circus monkey with the bike barely off vertical, lol. Always funny riding round the outside of them sat upright on a battered 13 year old bandit, lol.
I (almost) always wear full kit, but no dayglo romper suits, lol. I agree with you on those. So much of a hassle getting into and out of them anyway (ever tried one on?), and when you stand up they crush your balls, lol. Not for me. I have far more gear than I'll ever need, half of it I've never worn, but no one piece. More often than not you'll find me in a well worn (but super comfortable) pair of old plain black Dainese P103 trousers (got 'em brand new for £30 and had 3/4 inch taken out of each side of their ass by dave Leatherman many moons ago, before I ever worked in teh bike trade), and one of my Furygan jackets (gorgeous quality and v cool retro styling, and I got four brand new for £35 each, when they should've been £330 each, lol). The unscuffed kneesliders (I don't do knee down showboating) are only there cos cleaning those is easier then getting dead flies out of the velcro patches, lol.
Or you can never go wrong with plain black, lol:
Always gives me a laugh when you see blokes in awful pastel/dayglo suits off of the nineties (copyright Scott Mills, lol). Or just go into J&S and see similar sartorial horrors still for sale, if you fancy a chuckle, lol.
The heat reflective leathers you mentioned are the "Cool Black" coated ones, they have a nice matt/satin look to them and the coating is designed to reflect sunlight and keep you cooler. The Tripmaster suit is an example:

Ferk me, you need a burger mate. That's gonna seriously disadvantage me in the power to weight ratio stakes. :-)

I know, lol. My Bandit always had a slight edge over my mate's same bike, cos he was a few stone heavier. One of the reasons I like the Striple, it suits my whippet build, lol.

Mate had a 12 after the 6 (I rode it a few times), but (other than the bigger wheelies) he always maintained the 600 was more fun, and said he had to work a lot harder on the 12 to keep up. Still got mine, I've had it from new (August '98), but a lot of it's not the original bike anymore. It was a faired one originally. Great bike, and for four grand brand new an absolute bargain.

She was a bit bouncy on landing though, lol (the peak of the flight was a fair bit higher than the pic, about 3 feet of air under the back wheel according to the witness, lol). After a dozen or so passes my original shock died a few days later, lol.
