Looks lovely, Gary.
I think I'd need surgery to fit on it, mind!

+1 to the other comments.
A beautiful looking bike and I bet it's great fun to ride but I'd need to give it back after an hour or two or risk seeing my orthopaedic surgeon again.

good comments so far
i do feel it a bit on a sportsbike but i just love them and i have a soft spot for yams and even more so that colour scheme, sold this 2 years ago rode this as a 17yr old in 83/84 then restored in late 90s.
I also love doing trackdays so used to the sportsbike seating position, also last June done near on 3000 miles around france/italy and dont as a rule suffer with aches and pains.
I only ride for fun and one day of the weekend and normally 100/150 miles so sure i will be fine.

Love them RD's.
Went through most of them in the late 70's.RD200,RD350B,2xRD250DX and an RD400C(blue,best looking one ever.I almost cry when I see one)
and RD400D.Was never keen on the LC's
Love the look of that R6

Nice looking bike in that colour scheme. I just couldn't take the pain anymore though! Still may get another of the early ones one day though, they weren't so torturous.

I think your memory's playing tricks there, lol. Early R6 is teh second most uncomfortable bike I've ever ridden, lol. Can't understand why anyone buys stuff like that as a road bike.

Seeing that old RD takes me back! I remember all of my mates at school getting in to bikes and hooning around on them (I wasn't allowed a bike
) - I was always so jealous.
