Any recommendations?

Down  Mont de la Pulente onto 5mile,Wow great bend great view!

Happy Strippling

Thanks Greg!

I can find out about a bike hire for you but I've never seen anything other than scooters for hire here. Not that I've actually looked though to be fair.

Yeah st ouens bay is beautiful and the road lovely with a fast s bend in it. The feb edition of fast bikes had a feature on the local sprints

I forgot to explain the name headslide, its not cos i'm some sort of crazy ass rider. It came from a bmx accident when I was younger. My arms didnt come out fast enough to take the impact and well, my forehead did instead!

Did something similair when I was 5, using my nose and  a kerb stone. :087:

As for track day's in France, Le Mans is closest then circuit Carole next to Charles de Gaulle airport north of Paris, then Magny Cours and my local track Val de Vienne at Le Vigeant.
not 1, not 2 but 3 is the magic number

Heyup Headslide and welcome from Belgium!

Smiles per miles at home must be pretty high then, but I guess you'll be off to France or UK whenever poss with the mean machine?

Cheers

Hi Headslide from a fellow Bean. You have a good bike there, may see you out on the road some day. We go over to France quite a bit and the bike comes alive, let me know if you would like some company for your first trip.

Many thanks for the warm welcome guys!

09str, the bike actually used to belong to Andy (for everyone else, he's also a member on this forum and has just bought a super duke). Definitely plan to get it off the island, just not too sure yet. Do you join the locals from bikes.je on their Sunday morning breakfast rides? (loving the paint job on your bike btw, surprised I've not seen it about.

I quite like it in matte black but I think I'm going to replace the plastics with carbon fibre lol. Just leaves me with a bit of a dilemma with regards to what to do with the tank. Wondering if it will look ok or if I should get it resprayed gloss black to match the shine from the carbon gloss finish.

Yes I know Andy and his bike looks nice in the matt black, I changed mine from matt grey, been down for Sunday coffee a few times but the time is not that good for me. Are you going down this week, pretty sure Andy will be there with his new toy.
