Please use this stickied thread to let us know your experience with dealers all over the country.
- Contact details
- Location
- Service type received (purchased, services, parts fitted, breakdown, spare bike received, etc.)
- Give some feedback about the service
- Would you recommend the dealer?
- Anything else you can think of
Please keep your posts as factual and civil as possible

I'll start then:
Two Wheels, Edinburgh
- Bought STR from Niel. Bike was delivered a few days early due to me leaving the country. Insurance papers weren't accepted by DVLA. I drove through and took the originals to the DVLA where Niel met me.
Got it all done as promised. Excellent service from Niel. Got Scottoiler thrown in on the deal. I could have pushed harder but didn't bother.
- 500m Bike service. Bonnie for the day and can't complain. Excellent priced and done on time as promised.
- 6000m service. Didn't get the Thunderbird for the day but a Orange STR. Wasn't done when I returned (I was back early) and finished at the time they said it would be done. Did the service and remapped the Arrows. Didn't charge me for the remap.
So I would recommend them!

Great Dunmow, Essex
Bought a 12 month old ST from them. Beautifully prepared, only negative, they forgot to stamp the service history book (since done)
They got my v. clean, low mileage Monster S4 off me cheap in part-ex, but I let them! I was in a rush (not the best place to be when trying to negotiate a deal!)
Nice people to deal with, but not what I would call passionate, except in relation to Rockets - well, they are the biggest Rocket dealer.
I have no reason not to use them again, but out of preference I'd seek a more 'enthusiastic' dealer.

HDM Mechanique, Melle 79500 France.
Gave me an excellent trade in on my UK spec but French reg Ninja. Bike was ready inside a week, 1st service was while i waited as workshop was quiet, got a nice cup of coffee and bike mags to read, free extras fitted too. Bought Triumph all weather gloves in March and got 2 free tee shirts, my mate was with me and got the same deal also. Always friendly but often too busy to chat as they are small but busy dealership.
Just in case you Brits are in my area and in need of Triumph help.

I rang Triumphworld at Chesterfield to see if my bike was ready and Jamie (bless him) couldn't find my 'job card' and Penny had gone home. Oh OK I'll spend some more money on another phone call tomorrow and wait another day - great!
UPDATE! (next day)
Triumphworld finally called and the bike was ready. The hose has been sorted - properly this time, the bike was spotlessly clean and shiny and
had been filled to the brim with petrol, I guess as a goodwill gesture - I couldn't be more pleased that it is back on the road and bringing a grin to my face!
When the bike performs it makes you remember why you bought it in the first place.

Anyone in the south coast don't let anyone else touch your bike clive wood is the best, i have read many good reveiws regarding his servicing so decided to use his services. From the minute you meet him you know your in safe hands plenty of tea and he goes through everything with you showing you anything that crops up, today he noticed that someone had put the front wheel around the wrong i didn't have a clue. Thanks a lot clive and a thanks paul for making a lovely cuppa.

Clive is an independant, so not a dealer, but as said many times before, he knows his Triumphs.

Clive has serviced a number of bikes from here so that must be an endorsement, If I ever reach 12,000 miles then he is the man.

Hi there,
Just a quickie and a big thanks to Darren & the guys at " A1 moto " in york,Ive just traded in my xb12 for a pristine 09 triple:
very knowledgeable without the usual bull that comes with trading in a bike.
More than happy with the service and friendly welcome which I was given.
No problems here what so ever.
Oh yes just one thing....grin factor on my triple Massive!!

My dealer - Blom Motoren in Leusden (The Netherlands)
Super friendly folks there running a family Triumph only dealership. Traded in my Bandit and got a fair price for it.
The Striple they had in stock so I ordered it one saturday and picked it up the next. Ordered some extras for it which were still on order when I picked it up. However when I had the first service done all the bits had arrived (Arrow end cans, little screen and crash protectors) and they were fitted. They also fitted a 12v socket onto the right hand side radiator cowl which looks really neat and tidy and doesn't clutter up the bars and washed and polished the bike for me.
I also got a free Triumph T shirt off them.
There's always a coffee when I go down even if I'm only just calling in. They even managed to get me free of charge the english version of the owners handbook. They can't do enough for me and therefore for any other people living in Holland I would definately recommend them. Top guys they are.

I must recommend BS Bikes at Tunstall. Right from when I first put foot in the shop they have been nothing but first rate, demo rides offered from the start - they must have confidence in the product. I have Yorkshire blood, but even I don't mind paying the right price for good, courteous, knowledgeable service.
I have just picked up my ST from its first service, a courtesy bike was supplied while mine was serviced.
If only more dealers were like BS I am sure that there would be more bikes on the roads in the UK.
I have bad memories of dealers in the 70's, 80's and nineties, not all were bad but the good ones took some finding. These people had little idea of customer service and I am sure the industry is suffering from their attitude.

Pure Triumph in Wellingborough are a great dealership.
I bought my ST3 from them & recommended them to a pal when he was looking for a Speed & they looked after him well too.
Carl Rosner's in Sanderstead are a nice dealership too.
Had a service done by them & also bought a couple of bits for the bike there.
Not the quickest service, but they are extremely laidback & helpful.
Spoke to Carl in there last week about testing a Daytona & was more than enthusiastic about me riding their demo.

Renfrew, Glasgow. Just had my 12000mile service though the bikes only done 5000 in its 3 years.
Cost £188, think that was pretty reasonable, would be good to know otherwise.
Chatted for ages about all things from tyres to getting my girlfriend on a scrambler and they were really friendly and helpful. They offered me a bike for the day but I've only had my licence 4 months so no Rocket III to play on just yet
Also was quoted a rough figure of £210 + £40 fitting for a set of Bridgestone 023s which sounded pretty good too.
