What music are you listening to at the moment.

Because of the music post and thoughts about musical tastes I thought it was worth starting a thread.

If you start one on best/favourite bands it ends up as a boring list.

What are you listening to right now means something that you are listening to, or have listened to in the last few hours. In other words, recent, it's not about what music you like, or your favourite bands from the 60's. It's about what you select to meet your current musical mood.

You can add a bit on why you like it if you want.

Just been listening to Tarja Turunen (ex nightwish) new CD also The union both superb although different styles of music

Currently listening to Motorhead  - Another Perfect Day. They are my favourite band of all time and I never get bored of hearing them, They suit every mood I can possibly be in and I have now seen them 38 times live since 1990  :028:

Then this came on....not sure I particularly like this guy, but I'm pretty impressed by this, he also does a one man version of Bohemian Rhapsody, worth a look.

Metallica live in Glasgow from the 26th March last year!!

Fantastic gig, and fantastic band who have finally found their way again after a few dud albums!!! Couldn't believe How many older balder guys in the crowd along with young ( and hairyier) fans!

I love this band and I prefer the live cd's as it gives you a range of songs over a 25 year period!!

Also been listening to Ride the lightening and master of Puppets again class........

If I told you I was waiting for the new Manolito Y Su Trabuco to get here from Cuba and on a popular vein was digging Colombia's Systema Solar, Papaya Republik and ChockTown Quib.

Probably the best live band around.........(IMO)

Only seen Radiohead a coupla times but never did figure out how they perform such complex music so faultlessly.

Not listening to anything at the moment but I saw Muse at Wembley last night and they were awesome. I've been going to gigs for 29 years and seen all sorts, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, BB King, Eric Clapton, Rainbow, Samson, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, The Eagles, but Muse blew them all in to a cocked hat. Simply superb, over the top stadium rock at its very best. Best I've seen live.
