Killed hundreds of flies.

Was a lovely sunny spring day so I took her out for a 120 mile shakedown prior to her going in for her first annual service this week.

At Lathkill Dale (one of my favourite Derbyshire spots) I watched brown trout fishing fof flies wity a superabundance of them.

When I got home my white helmet and the white Pixie Hat were smothered in flies - see piccie of the Pixi Hat (well I suppose it is called a fly-screen really).

First ride with Triumph rearsets fitted, love it. Can see bike from the office window... its calling me, I can hear it... :490:
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
The question is, what is the question?

Not strictly today...

But gave the RS her first run around Donnington Park, it was a good as expected :) -

Just need to have a play with the suspension settings - didn't bother on the day as i wanted to get some more miles on them.

First morning commute this year with more than 10C outside. Very nice.
25C on my way home, a little bit too warm for having the liner in the jacket...

Went to the local Harley dealer, a very nice guy, and took this for a ride

I had enough after fifteen minutes. Took a three hour detour on my way home just because I was so satisfied with owning a proper bike.

Best part of the day, fresh blueberry muffin and some very good coffe

So my "what have you done" is usually "ride to work". But today it's nip down to see Kol, have a brew and a catch-up, purchase a pixie hat without holes so I can lose the visor screen, and I also got his painted rad cowls cos mine are just plain black. Then we went for a nice little blast round the great roads in his manor. Perfecto. Cheers Phil, you're a gentleman, scholar and a good tour guide LOL!

He also gave me a tank filler cap as the paint is coming off mine. Anyone ever swapped out a lock from a fuel cap before and got any tips on how to do it?
