Hi guys, it's been a while!
« on: May 18, 2017, 09:15:46 PM »
Hi guys and gals,

It's been a long time since I've been on here. Nice to see many of the old faces are still here, hope you're all well and still Streeting!

I've had a few bikes since I traded in my Street Triple back in 2014 - BMW S1000R, Ducati Monster 1200S, BMW R1200RS (current bike).

I have great memories of my days on the Street R, such a great bike and one of best biking forums on the web.

I've finally got around to selling all my old Street parts, so thought I'd say hi and plug the thread here! Like many on here (Red and Trinity excluded, we know you love those muddy rides! :038: ) I've always been a bit OCD with my bikes, so all parts are in great condition.

Thread here - https://www.street-triple.co.uk/index.php/topic,30580.0.html

Cheers :028:

Hello Kol! Long time no hear! I'm still on the same bike! Still remember our little blast round the Pirbright bends (and the icy car park on new years day).

Thanks guys.

Yeah Tom, the R1200RS is a decent bike :305: Loads of torque, pretty decent handling and very comfortable. Could do with being a bit more sporty, but that's not the really the nature of the flat twin.

Ha Hotmetal, oh yeah I'd forgotten about the carpark on new years! You still on the Street?

Hi Mr K. Glad you still enjoying two wheels and a flat twin too.

I thought I was a bit young for one so got a V4 1200 to keep the Street company along with knobblies.

Sales look to be going well. :-)

Cheers Red, glad to see you're still Streeting :028: So you have a K series 1200 beamer?

Any plans to go for the 765 then? :007:

The K is not a V4  :018:

765 one day, but got a a few more miles to do on the current R first, I was not overwhelmed by the more refined 765

Still as cryptic as ever I see Red! :038:

I haven't ridden the 765 yet. I did take the new Speed for spin when it came out a while back and thought it was an improvement. More refined, but still not better than the Street. I'll have to get a test ride in on the 765 :305:
