Yes, changing the link plates will alter sag a little bit, so its important to measure sag before installing them, as the top out height with the new plates will be higher. If you adjust sag to the new top out height, the bike will get nervous up front. So measure rider sag, replace link plates, aim for that old sag measurement number, add 1 or 2 clicks compression and rebound, and you're good to go.

They make the swingarm react less progressive, reducing the kick in the back over bumps.

Found my shock of choice, brembo rcs, steering damper, levers, and cartridges I once revalved for a customer. Goodies will come somewhere this week, guess I will have a busy weekend! Have some plans regarding wheels, I have a slightly damaged set of forged aprilia wheels, just need to find some time to see how to make these fit, and than make the parts.
Valve adjustment is due too, but to be honest, I think I will first ride it with the new suspension.... next weekend is soon enough for the valve job  :001:

So, checked valves, only to find that after 10k they are still exactly where i set them. Spark plugs looked good, just the air filter... looked like it ate the sahara. I have a few plans for this winter, will make new top and bottom yokes, found a very nice piece of ohlins kit for the front, new calipers, forged wheels, and maybe a bit more carbon here and there. Ordered 2 new outer tubes for the forks, as these are a little bent.Need to find some, or actually a lot of time at the mill......
