Took the baffle out of the exhaust. Sounds much better now!

Installed the arrow low boy system on my 2010 street. Headers a little fiddly but not terrible.
Love the sound and look, just waiting for the obd cable so I can install the lowboy map.

Just removed the plastic piece in the headstock and elongated the existing holes.

That's the procedure for the 2013-on bikes. Just remove the grill piece below the headlight mount. No need to add anything. I did this and I've had the air filter out after about 3000 miles and there was no animals in there. Sounds great on acceleration. Aurally it's a better mod than a pipe.

Also, today I used a piece of plastic pipe to increase the diameter of the throttle tube for a free throttle mod. This, together with the 50 tooth rear sprocket already fitted makes the bike feel much more pokey.

Collected the 2010 STR on Friday lunchtime.
Spent a total of 13 hours since then, cleaning, soldering indicator wires that were loose and applying ACF50.

Bought the standard arrow exhaust to replace the standard can. I had the RP-GP1 Scorpion, too loud for my ears. Sold that on the ebay!

Need to now, fit said exhaust!

In the process of putting the suspension settings back to normal from the book. However, I need to look at the sag. As this bike, ever since I bought it new. Seems to fit on the rear more than the front?

But biggest news. I actually went on my bike for the first time in about 3 / 4 months! Reminds me, why it's such a great bike. Exciting enough to be. Er. Exciting. But not at silly silly speeds. Saw some guys on the latest and greatest 1000's. Going faster. More fun?
