I would still get it properly mapped.

You cant Map the Euro 4 ECU's they are self learning, you just need to give it the 10-12 minute learning process,

You can flash the ECU but thats something else completely
It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.

Thanks for the reply and photo's

the part of the link pipe that your holding in the photo, is the part you have cut off and not using ?

So now you have almost a straight through exhaust, bet it sounds nice !

Can you now hold the throttle at 2,000 revs ok, or is it still tricky to get it there ?

This is what I was thinking of purchasing & doing the same, but I was going to cut the welded in baffle out, then weld the 2 pieces of link pipe back together, but what you have done seems to be working ok

Ride safe

Hey,

thats right, ive literally cut through that tube that holds the inner baffle and re attached the link pipe, it works a charm,

revs aren't a problem at all, holds nice and smooth, low speed and low rpm response is still nice and smooth,

so really happy with it :)

sorry, was late to respond to this one,

I didnt have any problems with the inner baffle in tbh, it was just too quiet for my liking, coming from a 675 13' STR with the SC Projects Conic on it, it was pretty loud, but this one wasnt anywhere close,

Even with the inner baffle and the removeable baffle removed its still not as loud, but then the euro 4 bikes now have a big airbox on the end of the downpipes so its not a straight through route from the exhaust headers anymore.

How did you remove the 1st baffle/silencer? I've taken the screw off mine and it is stuck fast

The only way i could get mine out was to take the whole pipe off and knock it out from the other end :003:

Does cutting the link pipe increase the noise by alot?
