Looking for 1st gen fly screen in roulette green
on: May 22, 2020, 09:34:24 PM
One of the previous owners of my 2007 striple fitted a wind protector thingy, which sadly required 3 holes is the fly screen. Removing the wind protector makes the front look loads better, but I'm left with 3 black screws (and flies, but that's what the screen is for, no?):

It seems I need part number T2307593-HG to put this right, which is discontinued by Triumph... Anyone with a clean and undamaged one lying around or know where I can get my hands on one?

They are as rare a "ROCKING...up to a pub, and finding it open". Which clear screen did you have bolted to it, as some screens look better than others....a pic would help ?   tr

Sad to here they're hard to find, though I had indeed noticed that :P

gvy managed to find a source for something that might / should work, although it's a bit pricey at just over 200: https://www.brabantmotors.nl/toebehoren/onderdelen/speed-triple-1050-2005-2010/fly-screen-in-kleur-motor-1-detail

The screen that was bolted to it wasn't exactly clear, it was almost black, I'll go take a picture of that later today :) Think I would be willing to trade the combination of fly screen and wind screen for a clean fly screen, should anyone fancy that.

That's the screen I have got, and I like it, but you don't. There is/ was another Triumph screen for your bike which you might like...fits into the same three holes. Have a look around, you will soon find it...might be your cheaper solution... :028:

This white bike has got the different Triumph one fitted:

Yeah I really like the look of the bike a lot better without any kind of screen over the fly screen :)

Ordered the expensive one, they only seem to be selling the entire fly screen kut, looking at the part number. Will post an update of what the bike looks like after installing it (though that'd be a familiar look if it turns out to be the real deal :)).
