Comfort seat.
on: September 11, 2020, 04:57:20 PM
Just back from a great couple of days in the borders, quite a few miles per day, but I realise that I'm now at the age of needing a comfort seat (striple '17 rs), any suggestions?

DIY.

Google "Lui Moto Golf Gel" and watch the YouTube tutorial of how to modify your seat with a gel pad.

Take a look at this bloke, I've had a couple of bike seats done there. I'm close enough to ride in and get them done but you can post them to him. I've been very pleased with what he's done for mine

Over the hill. Loves bikes, music & family. Not necessarily in that order

Just back from 8 days and 1632 miles in Borders and Scotland on my Street RS 17 the standard seat is fine and I'm 60 with dodgy hips and knees. To be honest if I have an issue it's usually my left hip, day 1 was giving me gip, since then it's been fine. I think the bike is telling me I should do more trips  :008: :008: :008:
