Service light.
on: November 21, 2020, 07:32:00 PM
My service light has just popped up…got serviced on 2800 and now on 3100 so a wee bit annoying.

Is tuneecu via Bluetooth the only way to turn it off?

Thanks again guys.

Oh and the age old question.

Do people go on annual service or mileage service…I’m a mileage guy or two years…every year regardless of mileage is taking the P.

If you want to keep to the service schedule set by Triumph it's mileage or time which ever comes first so each 6000 miles OR 12 months.

So if you are leaving it 2 years, regardless of mileage, you are not keeping to the schedule.
Whether this is an issue to you is another matter and outside warranty it has no effect.

Bear in mind things like brake fluid and coolant should also be renewed on a regular basis. Again mileage or time to stick to the schedule.

Oil and filter is done every year at start of season obvs.

But sticking to a yearly service interval is crazy to me…mileage or two years is my approach. And obviously hitting the prescribed mileages and getting the major items done when required i.e. valves is very important.

Best get some more miles in so that always comes first.

Minimum 1 year for me. Then dont forget the time related items
