Supercorsa to Metzeler M9 RR
on: November 28, 2020, 02:21:07 AM

Supercorsa 3800Km.

I was nice to the new bike for the 1st 1000km and have gotten more aggressive as experience on the bike is gained.  I can't see a new Supercorsa lasting much more than 2000Km.  People tell me crazy low mileage they have gotten from a Supercorsa rear.

I want a performance tyre but don't want to be replacing it every other week.

I stumbled into a set of Metzeler M9 RR.  They seem pretty good.  After an hour or two on them I'm throwing the bike into corners just as happily as I would on the Pirelli.

I thought that coming off the Supercorsa that a "lesser" tyre might no seem so good but these are nice.

So, cheaper, nice handling, plenty of stick and if they get more than a couple of thousand K then I'm a winner :-)

I’m sure there’s a “man maths” equation that will make the Super Corsa the best value for money  :087:
