High tickover revs

My new 2020 RS revs to 2300 when started from cold. It then drops to 1250rpm after warming up. If I then start it again while warm it goes up to 3000rpm for 5 seconds then drops to 1250rpm. This seems way too high. Is this normal for the RS?

Mine does it as well

At least its not just mine. I did come across a comment that said that after the first service the revs went down significantly. I've still got another 400 miles to do, so i can wait a couple of weeks...assuming it doesn't piddle down!
