tic tic tic noise on start

today on my new RS (2021) still with running in oil in it at 520km I started it after it not running for a week....it did a tic tic tic noise....sounded a bit like cam chain....on starting and oil pressure it immediately stopped....anyone else had this?

This is quite common if the bike has been left standing for several days or more. My STR does the same "clicking" if left standing for more than about 10-14 days and it's only for about 1 second or less. I think it must be something to do with the oil draining away from the top of the engine when left standing. As soon as engine oil pressure is restored the noise disappears.

I'm afraid the only answer is to use the bike every day.  :008:
