I'm interested in ordering one of these stands. I'm taking delivery of a 2010 STR at the end of the week. Does anyone know what thread size my bike will have? (Alan, are you still offering a discount to forum members  :028: )

Hi, I Think its probably a M6 but they changed about that time, 2011 is M8, best to wait and check actual bike - M6 looks kind of small !
Yep still giving a 15% discount. Alan.

Great product. I might be looking at this in the future.

Are you going to do a version to be able to maneuver the whole bike for the folks that have limited space?

Hi Alan. Just wondering if you can help. Should I be measuring the diameter of the hole for the screw?

Hi, Yes its the bobbin hole in the swinging arm that I need to know, they changed from 6mm to 8mm around 2010/2011 so always best to check if the bike is these model years. Its easiest to find some bolts that fit and measure them (the outside diameter of the threads) rather than the holes. M6 looks kind of small !
Any more questions please ask.

Alan.

Well my stand arrived on Friday.. you have got to be mental if you have not got one of these for your street. Just wow for ease of use. I recently decided to lay down in the road with my bike getting a broken wrist and 2 cracked ribs on the way down. Getting this bike up on the stand was completely effortless even injured and is so sturdy when up there.. To you sir i say Bravo on your creation..

Many thanks for the above ! I'm obviously a fellow biker and using the standard paddock stands seemed all wrong so I tried to make something better which has evolved with the feedback from users, to the current design which I may say I personally think is a treat to use ! Geting comments like the above makes it all worth while.

Alan,

Are you still offering the discount for forum users?

And do you know what size thread a 2009 Triple would be?

Cheers,

Paul
