Sorry to hear that - pretty vexing! I did the same on new years day a few years back in an icy car park trying to bump start it. Talk about a crap start to the year. Minor scratch to the engine casing on one side, easily painted thankfully  (PJ1 Satin Black if you are wondering). I then bought GB Racing protectors to shut the stable door after the horse had bolted.

Since then I've never dropped it - and my pushing skills have obviously improved - I had to push the damn thing 5 miles up a slippery muddy country road in the rain at night and still got home alright (apart from muddy boots, stinging eyes, aching shoulders, twinges in my back and a dent in my wallet to fix it).

Aye very annoying, we just starting to push it and I realised the side stand was down so tilted it slightly away from me and it just over balanced and I couldn't hold it up. Minor damage but very annoying. Didn't manage to get it bumped so called the AA when at the bottom of the hill and it took them over 2hrs to get to me...

Thanks for the paint, I'll get some as I have a few scuffs on the engine and the rear peg dealie, it's the bar end that annoys me as I can't seem to find the same ones. Indicator was also scratched but I was planning to replace those anyway.

Considering, at the time, I could only find used ones for circa 200, this one came all in at 70. Its a really decent bit of kit. Well built and fits exactly the same as the official triumph ones. Im proper made up with it.

On the way home from work Friday eve I had the rear tyre lose traction........big whoopsie moment   :005:, the road was dry and viz in the dark was good thoughts of Friday beer   :031: in my head then I ran into drizzle but stupidly kept up the pace

did the same thing the week before 10m from the work gate....this week I left time for the tyre to warm up, but still got caught out.

and this is with SP4's.....maybe traction control is needed  does it help on the 765 on damp roads ?

Is that PR4's Harry ? If it is, then consider the PR3's as the are "softer" than the 4. The 4 was developed for longer life therefore will not have as much grip, particularly in the cold.....that's how I see it  :027:
