« on: May 06, 2015, 06:59:37 PM »
Anyone with abs done trackday? How did u find the brakes with abs on or off?
Also how do the standard Pirelli Diablo tyres perform on track and any idea on pressures?

Anyone with abs done trackday?   Yes - 4 now

How did u find the brakes with abs on or off? I left abs on each time - most people seem to bin it under braking where I have been.  Not worth risking it when the abs can modulate far quicker than I can.  As long as you are very light on the rear, then it is hard to get it to work anyway. Plus you can outbrake many other bikes safe in the knowledge that you wont bin it through locked wheels

Also how do the standard Pirelli Diablo tyres perform on track and any idea on pressures?   Very good in the dry, scary squirmy in the damp/wet.

I was advised to run at 31 fr, 30 rear - but seek/take advice from the tyre guy on the day.

Which track you doing and who with?
