I am also thinking of going on a track day.

By the way, any recommendations on what track is the most suitable for de Street Triples?

Just asking as I would have thought "slow" tracks are better suited to them, whilst F1 style tracks like Silverstone I think are too "fast" for these bikes...

What are your opinions on this?

Here's a link to a trackday me and a mate went on at cadwell park earlier this. He is on a green street and I'm on a 2013 Str filming him. You can see how the litre boys pull away on the straights and we have to make it up on brakes or the twisty stuff.......Enjoy!        http://youtu.be/U9lSK9-2FHs

Great to see all of you out on track on your streets! Since I posted this thread I high sided big style out of the esses at donington on a Ron Haslam Race School day!! It was 3 weeks a go now, my right ankle is still swollen, my back and side are still bruised and swollen and more annoyingly my left hand is fractured in 3 places meaning I can't ride at all for the moment! Not surprisingly It's put me off track shenanigans for a bit but maybe when I've forgotten the pain! Lol

Ouch Ben that sounds a bit of a mare! I presume there being no mention of bike damage means it was one of theirs? Either way, $$$ no?

Hope you're back on 2 wheels (or even feet for that matter) soon bud.

Nice vid. Must be very satisfying picking off the other bikes one by one?! I was willing you to get past your mate haha which you did just before the chicane  :008:
Anyone up for rides out round Rivington, Belmont, Blackburn, just give us a shout :-)

Feet aren't an issue I just get a sore foot if I'm on it all day. It's the bloody hand stopping me! It's all getting stronger though and could have been far worse! My ambition out weighed my talent briefly! No charge for the damage. They're top people there.

Good to know they were cool about it. Hope your wrist gets better. You'll be fed up of the physio though...
