RS comfort settings.
« on: August 05, 2017, 01:00:22 PM »
I am happy with the suspension on my RS but it didn't feel quite as good as the test bike I rode, one of my favourite roads which is very twisty but has it's fare Share of bumps has made my RS bounce about abit mid corner so I've just adjusted the suspension to comfort settings and it's made a real difference to me,it's much smoother and quicker in the corners, this is the first standard bike I've had were adjusting the suspension actually makes a difference, there's also a nice little adjuster tool for adjusting the front suspension.

Yes unfortunately with the poor quality road round hear its worth dialling the settings for comfort and as you found it actually has a very positive effect.

The number of guys I know that have never even dialled in the correct preload for their weight astounds me. If the springs are too light or heavy then fair enough but some people don't make an effort to set a bike up.
Chaos, panic, destruction.........my work here is done.

It's a round disc looking affair that has likely fallen out of the slot in the rear seat tool holder.
Might be in the black tool wallet if you are lucky

As you suspected it's missing, never knew of it's existence till your post! One of the main reasons i've not adjusted mine yet.

On smooth roads it's amazing but the times i've been out the seat on crap roads!!

Sorry, I meant the hydraulic adjustars on top of the forks. It is complicated to full access them with the handlebar attached.
