SRAD GSXR600
« on: October 08, 2017, 05:53:12 AM »
Hi boys and girls

Got the opportunity to purchase a GSXR600, not got much on the details but I beleive they are after 700, bike was dropped at about 10-15mph but from what I can see damage is all cosmetic apart from levers etc. Not a big job to put back together. Am going to try and get a touch knocked off as not sure whether to purchase and restore to sell or use as a committed track bike? (Bit scared of throwing my daily 675 down into a gravel trap!) just want to hear people thoughts, particularly from regular track dayers. Interested to hear your thoughts! Is it a suitable bike for track days? Is it worth having a committed track bike? For what it's worth I would be looking at getting some tuition for track days as well before going out like bambi on ice and are there at mega points to note that I might have overlooked trying to do things this way?

Cheers all

Don't forget to add in the trailer costs.(I had one all ready).
Both of the ones I bought were MOT ed 500 each.
Broke one ( through a hedge) so have two .

As in the bikes were 500 each? Good work! This chap wants 750 for the GSXR600. Has been dropped though at about 10-15mph so see what they say!
