Remove Rear Drag Link from Frame
« on: July 11, 2018, 04:34:54 PM »
Did a search and couldn't see anyone posting about it, so here goes. Stripped the back end to grease the suspension links on my Street Triple 2012, and got to all of them except the the bearing that is in the drag link connected to the frame. Couldn't work out how the bush came out and didn't  want to start hitting it and hoping for the best. Anyone taken it out and could enlighten me on how?

If it's the one i think you're meaning it should just push out, but they can seize in place as they do dry out quite quickly. Might need a little persuasion.

From which side? The rhs (sitting on the bike) looks flush with frame lug, but the lhs is protruding slightly. It rotates freely, but does not want to come out either way.
