the other question ive asked them is about the height adjust ability, whether that is just up, or up and down....so will see what they say, thanks guys

Pillion or no pillion..the difference is the weight...its as simple as that.....if you weigh 10 stone and your pillion weighs 10 stone that would be the equivalent of a 20 stone lard arse riding your bike....ride height changes with the more lard you put on your seat, so may need adjusting as you load or unload the bike of lard. Some suspension units have an hydraulic ride height adjuster which makes it easier when going from a 10 stone setting to a 20 stone (two up) one.....but as tim says....the spring rate will be a compromise or spot o for one weight and way out for the other...takes your choice unless you like changing springs for the odd two up ride....or odd solo.... :027:
