Bike and engine both at the mechanics now, but I'm away till thursday so will (hopefully) be picking it up then. No problems so far, engine looks good at least.  :028:

Good god no.........I've done a few bits, but wouldn't trust myself to go that far. I'll leave that to the experts.

Well.....the engine swap went well, the new engine has only done 2500 and is scarily more responsive. Gonna take a bit more getting used to without pulling wheelies coming out of junctions. Looking well though.

Good to hear you're back on the road, and the new engine is actually a slight 'upgrade'. Hopefully that takes a bit of the sting out of having had to have a new lump in the first place.

Interesting, you wouldn't expect any difference! Did you swap ecu as well?
