Carbon wheels anyone?
« on: April 01, 2019, 05:30:39 PM »
I'm a total noob as far as CF wheels go. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Good brands/suppliers, etc.

Can you just bolt them on, or do they mess with the ABS?

TIA  :002:

I know rotobox do carbon wheels for the street triple.
I think BST are the market leaders, don't know if they do them for the trumpet.

Yes, BST do make them for the ST, at least according to their website. Thanks for confirming they are a good brand.

Have you considered those forged Aluminium wheels...less prone to chipping by ham fisted tire fitters  :027:

My mate has a set of BST's on his 2009 STR, they are brilliant I have ridden the bike a few times.

If it was my money I would be going for Rotobox at the minute down to the way they are constructed.

In fact I might go that way for my new 765 track build :-)
