Had a rear BT023 on my 9, and didn't quite like it to be honest. Very vague tyre (for me that is). No issues on the street, and more than enough for the occasional tamed spirited ride... For track though, not good. Decent mileage though as it is a hard wearing tyre.

So as it's a Road tyre aimed at Sports Touring it is in fact very good, on track you are taking it out of it's designed environment.

True.
Reason for my comment is simple; for me the Striple is a fun bike to enjoy a nice twisty road at a good pace, so with that in mind I prefer softer rubber with more grip rather than a Tyre designed for those long rides...

I know "Rocket" Ron Haslam is sponsored by Bridgestone, but he did use these on his race school bikes a few years ago. I have had two sets of these and I loved them...only went to Metzeler M7RR's as I fancied a change....wouldn't hesitate to use them again, especially if I was doing a lot of mileage as I got nearly 10,000 miles out of my rear  :037:
