I rode one about a month ago. Absolutely loved it.  A friend of mine rode the sane one a few weeks later and loved it too and hes a BMW guy.

Its so easy to ride it quick, it turns in great gives you so much confidence and the torque from that engine is arm ripping.

If I could afford a second bike Id have one no doubts.

Funnily enough I asked the dealer that when I brought it back. He said probably not as it would conflict with the thruxton.

I think they will bring an R model out because most of the triumph range has a standard model and a flash model ,I hope the do as I prefer adjustable decent suspension.

Speed Twin is so good I'm seriously considering chopping in my Street Triple and an 'R' Version would seal the deal.

I tested the Speed Twin a few weeks ago, and loved it.
It's a real torque monster, and is more fun than a Street Triple.
I am seriously considering one when an inheritance comes through in a few weeks' time.
Will there be an "R" version?
It's hard to say, as the current version is so good without the fancy suspension and brakes.
Remember that the Street Twin has been out for a few years now, and there's no "R" version of that bike.

I certainly will be keeping the Street Triple, Shaun.
That Speed Twin's torque is highly addictive and a total blast.
What's more, it handles and steers really well.

The guy I got my RS from was selling it to buy a Speed Twin.   I love my RS but if I was to have another bike, I'd def try one out.
