Wow 210 mile from a tank? My light comes on at 130, my calculations tell me I'm getting between 40-45mpg so I know the light comes on a bit early, but no way I could get 210. I once saw 220 on my Fazer 1000 whilst lost in France on whichever day the French petrol stations all close though... and having pushed my Street 5 miles (ignition failed as I was leaving the petrol station with a full tank) I will not do anything likely to cause a repeat of that 2 hour slog in the dark and rain...

_______
The only V8 I'm likely to own comes in one litre tetrapaks and tastes like celery.

Play nicely!
Bikes I've had:
Vespa 150 Super, GPz500s, FZR600R, ZX6R, FZS1000 (x2), 2009 Matt Graphite STR
and some pedally ones as well!

Im steady away most of the time, smooth progress and dont do much multi-lane sustained higher speed stuff.
Used to get the fuel light about 135. After Clive spotted that it had been running an Arrow map even though it had a std can, that went up to 145

2015 STriple. After getting the fuel light at 150 miles on a fairly steady ride out exploring some unfamiliar roads yesterday I got home with the odo showing 190, one bar on the gauge and predicted 11 more miles.
Set off this evening with a can of fuel as backup I headed to my usual petrol station.
Gauge went to zero bars at 196. I continued round the local urban roads close to the petrol station. 200 yards from the station (fortunate!) it began to hesitate. Stopped as I pulled up to a pump.
And the scores on the doors....
210.9 miles and 16.5 litres (on the side stand, usual method to keep putting little bits in at the end until just the meniscus around the little circle cut out on the highest, right hand side of the fill tube)

Confirm, from my experience running until engine stop gives usefull capacity about 16,5-16,8 litres.
