Wheel Colour

I'm guessing that the Gen 1 ST's came with the dark grey / black wheels as standard, however, where different coloured wheels an option, as a mate has a std black bike with gold wheels and my white bike has white wheels??

Cheers

I had a new gen 1 in white in 2007 . The wheels were a dark grey colour . I think they did a R gen 11? with gold wheels as standard . I have seen a couple of white streets/speeds with white wheels but they have had them powder coated that colour .

Gen 1 bikes all came with grey wheels except the STR in black circa 2010 / 11 which came with gold wheels. All other GEN 1 bikes with other colored wheels will be  aftermarket / repainted, except some of the factory workers bikes from 2007 - 2012 which came with whatever wheel colours they liked as long as it was from the factory colour chart  :028:

I had a 09 str in Matt orange, after an accident I replaced the rear wheel with a second hand Daytona wheel, I had it powder coated graphite which was a really good match.
