Ouch! Very sorry to hear this. I once crushed my left thumb between chain and sprocket while cleaning the chain, and that was only spinning the rear wheel with my right hand. Momentary lapse of concentration. A wheel has a lot of momentum even when spun by hand. It hurt enough to give me tunnel vision. I can't imagine what it's like if in gear and running. Sorry to hear about that.

_______
The only V8 I'm likely to own comes in one litre tetrapaks and tastes like celery.

_________
Play nicely!
Bikes I've had:
Vespa 150 Super, GPz500s, FZR600R, ZX6R, FZS1000 (x2), 2009 Matt Graphite STR
and some pedally ones as well!

Dzien dobry, Figer.  Only just caught up again with this thread and have re-read your shocking story.

It's a hell  of a shock to read about, let alone suffer such a horrific injury, and it is amazing that you are so sanguine (if that's not too insensitive a word!) about the whole incident!!

As others have said, I'm sure all of us wish you a full and speedy recovery from this and little or no long term limitation on your abilities to rebuild, modify and get back out on that Street.

Powodzenia Figer.

Damn it!
New toys are still coming and I'm a little indisposed. :187:

The giver of new bolts is KAWASAKI Z1000 14-17.
Everything is ready for assembly.

Your are a 'little' indisposed?!?  :037: :037: :037:

I was thinking about you a couple of nights ago. I basically had a nightmare about removing my finger, but somehow those real memories became modified to include YOUR accident. Bizarre. It was not a comfortable dream!

I hope you are not in too much pain and that your wounds are healing well.
