I know a lot of circuits it won't matter, but it will down the back straight at Almeria and I go there a lot.

Funnily enough you were the first person I thought of when I read this.... Maybe you could contact Triumph and see if they'll give you a solution.

Just think how the person who buys the 15k RS "Daytona" on eBay will feel too.

I am sure there will be a solution to flash the ECU to remove it at some point soon.

Hopefully the TuneECU guys will be able to work it out.

Jap litre bikes are limited to 300kmph but a PC3 overrides that, so doesnt one do the same on a 765?

I have noted that the top speed is limited to 143 mph.  Uphill, down hill or on a flat it doesn't change, its always 143 mph. The rev llimiter kicks in and stops any further acceleration.

So you are hitting the red line in top gear?

Maybe mcn got it wrong then.
0r they didn't get the speed calibrated.
They do quite often mess up

I dropped the final drive reduction on my RS as its a B road bike and find 3 rd  4th is far more useful than stock.
So my top gear is a bit short. But it's not a issue for public roads

I was hitting the top gear rev limiter at around 11700rpm which equates to around 143mph indicated. Probably around 135mph true speed i would guess.
I have emailed healtech they say the top speed limiter can't be overridden as they have a canbus system fitted.
Since it red lines at 12600 or so it is definitely limited. So as previously mentioned unless tune ecu come up with something or triumph have a change of heart were screwed! In my case i will be selling it and buying something that hasn't been Nannied!
To say i am disappointed is an understatement. I sold my GSXS1000 (TRE unlimited) for this and i now regret that move!
