Eastern Creek Track Day Sun 11 Oct
« on: September 02, 2009, 07:51:48 AM »
Looking at booking in a Track Day at Eastern Creek, will be my first 'real' track day after having done CSS and Stayupright courses on at EC and Oran Park.

Good to fill the track with sweet triple harmony. Probably book closer to the date to get a better indication of weather.

That could be a good plan.

I'll try to make certain I'm in the country round then!

Kev.

I've just read this post about 15mins after finding out I have to work that day.  The only weekend I have to work all year and it is this one!!   :230:

Have fun and hopefully catch up at another one soon.

Are you thinking of going into White or Yellow group?  I did CSS and then a track day the week after back in July.  Because I had booked early I went in the White group.  After the 1st or 2nd session I tried to move up to Yellow.  You pretty much have no chance of moving up though because most groups are booked out so your only chance is if someone crashes or is somehow able to move to another group.  If you end up in White, leave plenty of space between everyone and don't be in too much of a rush.  Just enjoy yourself  :028:

I'm thinking of Yellow group, though I have limited experience on track, it's a lot more than some noob on track for the first time without any rider training! which I'm gathering is what the white group is for. Is there a big difference between the groups?

Krismart I'm sure you can juggle things around to be available.  :305:

I would definitely go Yellow.  Don't think there is a massive difference anyway.

Unfortunately I can't move a clients AGM that I have to attend  :230:
